Create a Critter Creations

About a month ago, I received the create a critter cricut cartridge that I bought online since there was a sale! All the animals are so cute! They are easier than Spongebob since there are no itty bitty pieces! I only got to make a couple things so far...but excited to make more!

This card was for my friend who went to Las Vegas for the first time!
(the 7's were from the George cartridge)

Made this for my pocket planner...if you know me, I love things with smiley faces! :)

Glad tomorrow is Friday! It's been a long week!

May OCS

Just wanted to share both OCS cards for May. I was so glad to be partnered with Teri...happy she is a player now! I did a second attempt at a side step card...it is actually easy to make, it's just figuring out how to decorate the card! I tried my best to use brighter colors than I usually do.

My card for Teri...

and Teri's card for Me...

This is a very cool stamp from TGF! I love cats! Thanks Teri!

Spongebob Desk Top Organizer

I finally got a chance to make the desk top organizer everyone else has made already! It looks hard to put together, but it is actually pretty simple! Since I had a hard time with my mom's card last time, I decided to make Spongebob huge so it'll be a little easier. I made this for my mom to use at work. On the side I put some orange ribbon. TFL!

Hedgy Birthday!

I was happy to get a chance to use my new Penny Black stamps...and decided to participate in the Penny Black Challenge! The challenge this week is to use flowers on your card so that is why I chose this image. I originally was going to use the other new stamp I got where he was holding a cake and present but wanted to use the flower stamp for the challenge. This is card is for my supervisor's birthday and my co-workers and I are going to giver her a gift card. So I made this card a gift card holder too! At first it was so confusing and then I finally figured it out! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Spongebob Mother's Day!

Just wanted to share the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day! Last minute I was trying to think of a card since she likes orange and I finally was going to use the Spongebob cricut cartridge she wanted me to use since she loves him! I decided to made a side step card...I'm pretty sure that's what it's c alled...because another blog site called it a half ladder card. This was my first time making this kind of card. It is actually easier than it looks! The only junk part was that I made Spongebob 4 inches!...but his socks were still so darn small it was driving me crazy!

Tilda Gift Bag

Hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day! Anyways, for my bf's mom's gift, I decided to decorate a bag to make my own gift bag. I was having such a hard time thinking of how to decorate it! :( I finally decided to make a few tissue paper flowers...I know they are really popular and most people use it with DP. Also put on this little tilda that I found in my image box.

Happy Mother's Day, Grandma!

I just had to make another purple card! I know I should expand the colors I like to use but everytime I use purple, I'm actually proud of my card and it seems like they come out the best! I participated in the challenge at Raise the Bar! The theme was "For Mom". I really like my card layout...I saw it in a card magazine I bought from Barnes and Noble the other week. For all the mothers...Happy Mother's Day!

Last weekend I picked up the humingbird cross stitch I got framed...geez custom framing cost an arm and a leg! haha nah it's okay because it's for my grandma for Mother's Day! For all you mothers out there...hope you have an enjoyable one!

A close up...

More Washi Paper Coasters

Just recently, I shared the washi paper coasters I made using the heavy weight coasters as part of my friend's bday gift. Thanks to Cami, she suggested it would be a great idea for the craft fair at my work place. I wasn't sure how well it would sell so I ended up making 3 sets with 4 in each of the same design. Today was the first day of the craft fair and to my surprise, they are all gone! yay...also, my paperclip bookmarks are gone too and my one and only post-it note frame was gone when I checked out the craft fair. I give huge credit to people who do craft fairs all the time and make a lot of stuff. I didn't make too much but it was still hard work for me! :( But it's good to see people buying things you made!

The 3 designs...

All 12...

Hope everyone is having a great week!

Happy Spring

I found this sentiment lying around so I decided to use it for this card! Plus it matched well since I wanted my card to be purple! I did a sketch challenge with Create 4 Fun! I can't believe it's May already! Time is flying as always...especially when you're getting older! :)

"God never promised that we wouldn’t have challenges. In fact, He said just the opposite. His word says, ‘Be truly glad!...these trials are only to test your faith, to see whether or not it is strong and pure…’ so if your faith remains strong after being tried in the test tube of fiery trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day of His return."
