Warm & Cozy Anya

I thought I'd try and finish another card since I'm not sure if I'll get to post again this week. I'll be going to Disneyland again...but it's my first time going to see the Christmas decorations...looking forward to a vacation! I still need more warm clothes! Lucky Anya looks very warm! :) My card is for the challenge at Club Anya! I love TGF! I tried my best to make my card have a vintage look...I still gotta buy distress ink. I should've made the pink less bright. Just gotta practice.

I'll be back after my trip! Thanks for stopping by!

Snowman and Hedgy

Got to squeeze in some time to put together a Christmas card before going to sleep! Luckily I had this image colored already so it saved some time! I followed the sketch at Sparkle Creations Christmas Card Challenges. I wish I had more time to add more embellishments. But sometimes they say less is more.

I guess it must be time to go sleep...my picture looks crooked. :)
Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi all! Are you all stuffed from Thanksgiving? I am...sadly I did not have room for dessert. I guess it's good in a way I'm not a fan of pumpkin. This year I made 4 Thanksgiving cards...for my mom, grandma and 2 great friends! I was googling turkey punch art and I found an idea here. I made CAS cards so the turkey would stand out. I used sketches from here. Something new for me since I'm not used to making things out of paper punches but it was fun!

Well hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving!
I'm grateful for everything in my life!
Of course, life isn't perfect but you just gotta make the best with what you got!

Happy Birthday!

My grandma asked me to make a birthday card for a little boy turning 3. I thought the Birthday Ian digi was the perfect image! Kept the card simple since it's for a boy. Followed the sketch at Club Anya. I like the colors of this card, even though they are not my favorite.

Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas Cards

Wow, another weekend went by! Still so many things to do and not enough time! I helped my friend decorate her Christmas cards that she will be giving out this year...she said I saved her more than triple from last year since she got it custom made from a store. Yay! Luckily we ended up decorating 25 cards with 4 designs. Like most things that are done in mass production, we kept it simple but yet nice at the same time.

For this one we used my new Martha Stewart poinsettia paper punch.
I already had these turtle die cuts and my friend said it'll be good for a "Hawaiian Christmas".

This one I used the poinsettia embossing folder on the left side.
And a Dandelion Christmas stamp with a scalloped circle punch.

These snowflake ones look really simple, but are lovely IRL!
We had to do trial and error, it was funny I put one snowflake through the Xyron
and put glitter on it...fail! :) Luckily, I remembered I had lots of glitter paper I got
from Target last year...then we were on a roll!

It was a fun night...since she like to do crafts too. (Just doesn't own crafts like me...yet) Her bf said
she should start doing crafts more. Haha...that'll be great!
Hope you all a great weekend!
Can't believe Thanksgiving is this Thursday! wow!

With Sympathy

Hello! What a long week...thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! Yay! Well my grandma asked me to make a sympathy card for this weekend so I decided to make something simple because I didn't want to think too much. :) She said roses are ok for a sympathy card so I used the cuttlbug folder and just added dew drops.

Still didn't get much time to craft this week...tomorrow should be fun, I told my good friend I would help her make her Christmas cards with her. 40 of them!! If it looks good, I'll share them! :)
Have a great weekend everyone!

Beary Merry Christmas

I totally love Lili of the Valley stamps!! I especially love the animals! Finally got to use my favorite one! Decided to stick to the traditional colors for this one again. Followed the sketch at The Pink Elephant.

Can't tell in the photo, but I put stickles on the snow drops and the snow on the ground.
Hope you all had a great Monday!

Seize the Day

I can't believe next weekend is Thanksgiving already! Less and less time to finish Christmas projects/gifts! :( I've neglected the stamp sets I got from Stampin' Up so I thought I'd use them for a birthday card! I really like the ice cream set from this past summer. It's weird that I like images of desserts but yet I'm not a huge fan in real life! I like to make them colorful! It was my first time using baker's twine...still getting used to it. I entered this in the challenge at Truly Scrumptious.

Hope you all had an enjoyable weekend!

Milton w/Poinsettia

Got to do another Christmas card to add to my pile! I used Milton the bear from Wild Rose Studio and followed the sketch at Papertake Weekly. I still need to practice the "out of the box" technique.

Thanks for stopping by!

Snowman Family Christmas

Here's a card I made for the challenge at Sketch Saturday. Didn't use any special techniques here, just used non-traditional colors.

I love snowmen! Too bad I don't see too many snowman stamps around!
(But, I'm also picky with them, they have to be cute! :) )
If you have Veteran's Day off, hope you have a great day off!

More Craft Fair Items

Sad I didn't get to post for awhile...it's super scary how we're almost in the middle of November! My mom said her friend will help me sell stuff for a craft fair again. I just did what I could and I figured I would just start earlier next year. I really need to start on my handmade gifts!! Yikes! Anyways, gotta go sleep so here it is...

Here are more Post-it frames...

Couple more calendar frames...

And Post-it holders...

Did some Asian ones...paper pieced the fan...

Lastly, did some Iris Folding ones...

This isn't even that much stuff...I don't know how others make way more things for craft fairs. I'm sure they start early but wow, I give them a lot of credit! We'll see if I can make stuff again to sell next year! But crafting for love is fine with me too!
Hope everyone is having an awesome week!

Pure Innocence Xmas

Trying to squeeze in time to do some Christmas cards here and there...it is sneaking up on us way too fast! Plus I want to finish more things for another craft fair next week! Here's a Pure Innocence card I entered at Stamp and Create. The challenge was to create a Christmas or holiday card.

I wish I had time to make a card a day! Then I would get a lot of practice!
Well it could be a new year's resolution! :)
Good night...it's been really rainy and windy lately!

Dandelion Christmas

A quick post to share a simple christmas card using more Dandelion stamps. I followed the sketch at The Sweet Shop.

There really needs to be more time in a day (night) to craft!
If you had Election Day off, hope you had a great day!

Halloween Favors and a RAK!

I know it's past Halloween but I didn't get to post these earlier! It was super hectic last Thursday as I procrastinated the favors I wanted to make for work. I was sad I ended up not having enough time to make stuff for my friends. I got the idea for my favors here. I love Dandelion stamps and all the cute projects she makes. I really liked the pumpkin idea with the tissue paper but of course, mines did not come out as nice! I made 5 little boxes for my department and one big one for our brunch at work with 2 other departments.

Up close of a Ferrero Rocher Candy covered pumpkin...

Made 5 of these for my department...

Centerpiece for the Halloween brunch at work...
(Didn't have time to make it nicer! :( )

I was excited to receive some happy mail! A Halloween RAK from Joy! Thanks so much for thinking of me! There was candy too but it's gone already! :)

Can't believe it's already November! I hope I can finish my homemade gifts for Christmas!
Hope everyone had a fun Halloween!
