And my good friend, fellow crafting buddy made me these lovely cards with her Cricut!

Even though it's a machine, I got lazy with mine! :(

But I hope to get back into it later...

Yay, tomorrow is Thursday already, and last day of March!

Simple Christmas

A simple card I made for the challenge at Clean & Simple!

I was going to make 3 identical cards but sadly, I gave up on trying to stamp in a line. :O

One day, I'll try again. I was usng the stampamajig but guess I don't know how to use it properly!

Oh and my mojo went on vacation so I decided to use a sticker for the sentiment instead of stamping! :(

Bad I know, life's been a bit crazy lately...but isn't that what life is all about?! I remember in high school when things were going rough, I made up my own quote...

"If life were simple, it wouldn't be life".

Just to name one thing, I was in my first car accident the other week...luckily, I'm fine, I just felt traumatized for a day!

Make A Wish

Altered Notepad

Decided to make an altered notepad since they've been neglected. This will be one of the things for my secret sister that Kris hosts every month, but I can't say who's mine because I didn't send it out yet! This is for the challenge at Stamp with fun and the theme was "Spring". Got inspiration for my notepad from an older Mojo Monday Sketch. Tried to make it look vintage, but I'm still working on it.

Easter Anya

Made my 2nd Easter card!...wish I had more time to keep 'em coming! hehe. I went to Club Anya for a sketch challenge. Had fun with this even though the sketch was a little difficult for me.

Luckily, Easter is late this year so I have some time to make some more. But of course it will come by before you know it!

Actions really speak louder than words.

Sometimes you can't ask someone if they'll do something/or not, you just gotta watch their actions and trust your instincts! I believe your gut tells all!

I made this card really quick in time for the deadline at There She Goes! I just found out about this awesome stamp company recently while blogging. I love all their stamps...probably not a good thing! :( I used one of the new stamps I got in the mail! :)

I can't believe the weekend is over...that's okay, looking forward to Prince Kuhio Day holiday on Friday! :)

Decided to make my first easter card for the year! I know pretty late, considering I'm starting my Christmas cards already. Used some new DP I got and another excuse to use PI since I entered the challenge at My Favorite Things!

Birthday Gift Card Holder

My co-worker's birthday was yesterday and everyone was pitching in for a gift card so I decided to make the card/gift card holder. I wanted to make something different so I searched google...the easiest place for me. (I just type in something and see which picture looks the best to me! :) ) I'll share the tutorial with you all...got it from here. Even though the card base was only 4 1/4 x 4 1/4, I still wanted to use the sketch from this week's Mojo Monday Challenge. I couldn't resist using another PI image! :)

Left the inside with solid color so my co-workers and I could sign inside.

Here's the card/gift card holder with the ribbon tied on the side...

I should of made one of the ribbons a different color but everyone liked it anyways...phew!

Butterfly Thank You

Since these are quick cards, I made 3 of them again. Made them all identical, just used different colors.

Butterflies and sentiment are both Stampin' Up.

Poinsettia Christmas

Finally got a chance to do a challenge. I went to Clean & Simple. I decided that for the C&S challenges, I will try my best to make 3 identical/similar cards. That way, I'll can build a stash faster and they will be great for gifts later!

For these cards, I used my poinsettia embossing folder and tried my best to rub red ink only on the raised portion. Then used a nestabilities die for the sentiment and just added ribbon and a poinsettia embellishment. It's as simple as that!

I forgot to mention, this is my first 3 cards out of the many cards I plan to send to Operation Write Home! Last year, I donated 20 cards (I started late last year) and I really want to donate more this year so I'm starting early! :)

Missing You

Finally got to do a challenge this week! Of course I couldn't miss the challenge for My Favorite Things.

This was a super fun sketch and decided to use a color combo that I'm not used to!

I can't believe tomorrow is Friday already...but I'm not complaining! :)

Bargello Technique...

Squeezed in a little time to share something! Wish I had more time to craft! I'm not even sure how to pronounce "bargello" but I was browsing online and came across someone's blog with an interesting tutorial. When I tried it's really not that hard, but looks cool after! I love the samples she had on her blog but I decided to keep mine simple for now. I made 3 of them to practice, just used different sentiment stamps.

It's always fun to try something new!
