Made another card using an Ellzybells image. It looks like a Valentine's card but I used a non-Valentine sentiment so I could use it any time. :) I was supposed to enter this in the sketch challenge here but I finished the card in time but forgot when the deadline was. oops! I still wanted to share it anyway.

Hello there! I made my 2nd Christmas card for the year! :) Trying to make some now while I have time...things might come up later and then I will get behind! :) I used a stamp from Ellzybells. Made my first Christmas card for 2012! :) Never too early to get started since time is always flying!! I decided to use some non traditional colors and I love using pink these days. Got the sketch from here. Used Cheeky Christmas stamp and sentiment and Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses paper.

Finally got to make a card using one of Sweet November's Fairwee stamps! They are super cute! And I thought she would be good for a circle shaped card, plus I haven't made too many shaped cards in awhile! I added a brad at the top so you can just slide the card.

I made another Valentine's card. The funny thing is I don't send out too many Vday cards but it's so fun to make! But I think it could be used for "just because" too! First time using this Pure Innocence image and I'm not sure what I was thinking drawing in the small black lines by the hearts! I think I made it worse! (Trying to make some effects! haha.) Tried to make it a little non-traditional by adding yellow.

Dandelion Valentine

Made a simple Valentine's card using  a new image by Dandelion Designs. I actually cheated a little and stamped him on the beige paper so I did not color him! :) And the background technique is cased from the January 2012 issue of the CardMaker magazine. Love all their ideas!

Life is sweet, with you in it...

Tried a new color combo...purple and turquoise. Purple is my favorite color but is it just me or is it hard to find purple DP? Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. I love Lollipop Anya, yet I think this is only my second card with her!! That's what happens when you have too many stamps! :(

Fruits!

If I haven't said before, I love fruits with faces! :) Or actually anything that usually doesn't have faces normally! They are just really cute to me! Sadly, this is my first time using these images by Two Scoops Rice Designs. I love their images too...btw, does anyone know about this company? I believe the shop site shut down last year and I haven't heard any word on the blog either. Very sad! 

I put glossy accents on the fruits to add some dimension.

Today is Lollipop Craft's first day back from break!  The theme is "new"- new technique, new supplies, etc. or "new" in general - new year, new baby, etc. I chose new year and I used my new stamp I got from My Favorite Things!
