Post-it Note Holders

I decided to make these post-it note holders for my co-workers! I found this brilliant idea from Joy's blog! I'm so amazed by everything because I can follow something but I don't think I'll ever make up something on my own! It was fun to make but at the same time a little frustrating because I'm still getting used to matching colors! Plus it was hard not working with purple! :) Oh well...I hope they don't think it looks too plain...I tried my best! Here it is...

Just this last one I didn't use any stamps because I don't have any Vegas/poker stamps. He likes Vegas a lot! Even his desk area has all these Vegas pix! I just used stickers and put it on white cardstock and cut out around it, then put pop dots.

TFL! Hope everyone is having a great week!

August OCS

It was a great experience this month participating in Teri's OCS! (Being that it was my first!) I'm loving this cardmaking thing more everyday! Getting super addicted to buying cute stuff that sure add up! Oh well, it's something I enjoy so I guess that's the main thing. Anyways, here is the card I received from my partner, Sherri. I told her I like purple and here's what she came up with!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Mojo Monday Turns 100 - Day 3

Hello! All the card challenges look so fun to participate in so I decided to do the Mojo Monday Sketch Blog! They are on their 100th sketch so they are celebrating with a sketch everyday this week! This was my first time doing this as well as my first sketch that I followed to make a card! So fun and slowly getting the hang of things! My card may look simple but it took an hour and a half to complete because I was having a hard time matching colors! Plus, I still gotta practice with the copics! Some parts I went out of the lines! I'm trying hard not to use purple in all of my cards! If you didn't notice, it's my favorite color! Anyways, here is the sketch that I followed along with the card!

August OCS & Thank you card

Hello again! I was holding off on posting these cards because I wasn't too satisfied with them...my excuse is I'm still new at all this! Quite overwhelming! :) Trying hard to not have my cards look so plain! :( Here is my card I made for Sherri for Teri's (Big Ideas from a little girl) One Card Swap! Photobucket
It was my first time making a shaker card! Didn't come out good because my mounting tape wasn't thick enough so not all of the seed beads moved. Main thing, she told me she likes it! :)
And here is a thank you card I made for my August Aloha RAK that I received.

This is a digital stamp from Soft Pencil Designs at etsy.com. There are more really cute designs! Again, it was my first time using digi stamps and copics so bear with me! Slowly learning everything! Well TFL! Sorry my pix are not too clear...I'm still learning how to do HTML as well! So lost!

August Aloha RAK

Hello! This is my first post on this blog! Actually, the last time I blogged was on Xanga back in high school! Man, time flies! It's a first for everything because I just started getting into stamping and cards and so this was my first time participating in Jen's Aloha RAK and also Teri's One Card Swap. They were both very fun and it's always good to meet new people! Here is the Aloha RAK I received from Sharon from California:

It was so exciting because I have not received anything handmade for a long time so it was nice. That's all for now...we'll see how this blogging thing goes!
