Baby Shower Favors

This is what I've been working on for the past 2 weeks...baby shower favors! It didn't take the whole 2 weeks to do, just the process of thinking of it,planning, and actually putting it together. It all started when my co-worker was planning a shower for my other co-worker who was due the end of March. She wanted to have a potluck lunch and I'm not good with food so I suggested I make favors! I thought it'd be a good chance to see if I know how to mass produce! Turned out I had to make 35 favors! I actually looked around online and decided to do the chocolate nuggets. Man, I just finished everything like a couple days before! I was so determined! I was busy the whole weekend last week, so I was thankful my mom and grandma helped me cut the 105 strips I needed for the nuggets and they ran it through the swiss dots cuttlebug embossing folder for me!

*The funny thing was that it was for March 4 and when I went to work that morning, I was informed she gave birth that same morning around 1 a.m.! But we still ate the food for the potluck! :) There were some extra favors so someone is going get it to her in time for her other shower that was planned with her family. Happy Girl's Day!

Happy Girl's Day everyone! So sad I didn't get to post for awhile! Didn't get to craft this past weekend even though I had things I needed to get done....I'll post those soon! But today I wanted to share something I made for girl's day. I thought it was a little crazy because I already had something else I needed to finish, but when I saw this on  Dandelion's blog and I just had to try it! I made the measurements a little bigger because I used the See's candies lollipops! And it would've been nicer if I had more time but I thought it came out okay for doing it in little over an hour! I told myself I wanted to try to start making things for people for every little holiday/occasion!...I think except St. patty's day!....not really a big fan! :) TFL! February OCS

Wow, I can't believe this is the last week of February already! Where does all the precious time go?? Anyways, I just wanted to share the cards for the this month's OCS! I was happy to be partnered with Denise! I've been super busy lately...with crafts! hehe. I'll show them next week when it's all done! Mini Calendar

I got carried away last year buying a lot of 2010 calendars, then I kinda got stuck with them! Mostly because I ran out of time to make all of them! :( One day hopefully I can make stuff really quick! :) I got started on one of the calendars and decided to make it for Denise! I was hoping it would cheer her up since she's been through a lot lately! Plus, she was also my partner for this month's OCS! I'll post those later. Here is my calendar...kinda plain, still working on creativeness!

My 1st Cricut Project!

Since my friend loves Hello Kitty I decided to make her a gift bag for birthday using my HK Cricut cartridge. And wow, even though the machine cuts out the pieces, it was still a lot of work! hehe. plus I messed up a little on the words but I thought it still came out okay for my first time. But for those that are good with the cricut, i give you credit even though it may seem easy!

Birthday Cards!

2 of my good friends' birthdays are this month so I made cards since I had some time. Funny, one is on the 20th and the next day on the 21st. Anyways, I used sketches from a magazine I got in Cali called Cardmaking and papercrafts. It is from the UK. I wanted to subscribe to them but they only send to UK and some other European countries! oh well I guess I just have to buy them...I love all their examples and they always have a free gift! Here's what I got...
