Iris Folding Cards

Hello! Sorry, I don't have a stamped card today! I have been MIA for 2 weeks because I just came back from Disney World in Florida! It was such a super tiring trip back because I had to take 3 flights! Anyways, glad to be home! I haven't made a card in awhile but just wanted to share another type of card I learned how to make awhile back. I thought the Iris Folding Cards were pretty interesting. They were made by a lady in Europe, I believe, in which you make the shape by using color coordinated strips of folded paper that are taped into place over a pattern and creating a spiralling design that resembles the iris of an eye or camera and the middle is supposed to represent an iris of an eye or camera. It may look hard, but really simple...just takes some time to cut the strips of paper! Here's a few that I made! TFL!

*Sorry my pix don't come out too well...I'm still learning more html.

How was your trip? When we lived in DC, we'd drive down to Orlando every Christmas...miss it. But glad I'm living west side now...so not a east coaster...LOL! even if I was born in FL!

Can't wait to see more of your creations!

    Aloha!
