Snowman Family Card & Bag

Made another Christmas card since a lot of challenges are having themes with "Christmas in July". :) Love these kinds of cards! The Sweet Stop was one of them with the theme this week along with their usual sketch. Fun fun! Put together a simple card...a lot going on this week but creating always helps relax the mind!

I also tried to make a matching gift bag!!

The papers are a little different since I was using scraps!

Thought of the day: 

I realized no matter how hard I try, my creations end up really "simple". 

But yet, I really adore everyone's projects who have more. I guess we are all unique and whether simple or not, everyone's creations are beautiful in their own way!! :)

That is the reason I have a blog...to have those words of support to continue paper crafting!

Christmas Gift Bag

Found some time to craft a little. Made a gift bag for Christmas since I love to alter shopping bags! :) Also, Sparkle Creations is having a Christmas in July challenge this week so I thought I'd play along! I messed up coloring her bell, but I thought I'd use the pic anyways since everything else looked okay...I'm still getting used to blending with Copics! :( I used a sketch from Clean&Simple.

I also wanted to share another BRAK I received from Joy!

 I love this pretty card!

Super creative...I love how she is hanging and the hair coloring!

Kiyomi

Finally got to do something crafty...even then, my mojo was somewhere else so this came out super simple!! :( I used one of the new stamps "Kiyomi" from the set by Sister Stamps!! I told myself I wasn't going to spend money...but luckily my bf bought me all 3 of them! yay! I used for this month's card and tag swap. The challenge was to use red, white, and blue. I'm not fond of patriotic cards so I decided to use a subtle blue. Hope my partner likes it though!

Warm Winter Wishes

Yay, finally got to make a card...didn't get a chance the whole weekend! :( But I couldn't resist and went craft shopping though! Made another C&S card! The sketch from Clean & Simple gave me a great chance to use my Christmas penguin stamps by There She Goes! Super cute...especially this penguin in a Santa suit!

 I also wanted to share a BRAK I received from Kris!

It was a very nice surprise! I love her giftbag (love cupcakes) and her beautiful card!

Wow, this is the first time I posted twice in one day...mostly because I already had the first one drafted last night and blogger was down so I had to wait to post. And I had to rush tonight because my mom asked me for a "bon voyage" card to give her co-worker since she will be going to Europe soon! Lucky her! :) Unfortunately I don't have any "trip" stamps nor do I like to make computer generated sentiments so I used "have" and "fun" from 2 different Pure Innocence sentiments.

Cindy Lou Christmas

Yay, got to do another quick challenge! Went to Clean & Simple for the sketch since I will make more than one of the same card! (Need to catch up on my Christmas cards for Operation Write Home). I remembered I had this cute Cindy Lou stamp from Amuse stamps and knew it would be good for this sketch! And decided to use non-traditional colors!

A Warm Hello...

is the sentiment I would use if I had it for this card! Finally had a little time to make a simple card! I usually try my best to squeeze in some kind of crafting whether it be coloring, putting together a card, etc. just because it really is therapy after a long day and of course...it's fun! :) I actually had this Soft Pencil digi already colored.

 I also wanted to share the card and matching tag I received from my partner for June, Grace.

It's so pretty!

Can't believe July is coming up so quick! 

I'm excited for the long weekend coming up!
