Elf

Here's a card I made for the Christmas Card Challenge.

The challenge was to use elves. Elf Oliver is so cute!

Poinsettia Christmas

Finally got a chance to do a challenge. I went to Clean & Simple. I decided that for the C&S challenges, I will try my best to make 3 identical/similar cards. That way, I'll can build a stash faster and they will be great for gifts later!

For these cards, I used my poinsettia embossing folder and tried my best to rub red ink only on the raised portion. Then used a nestabilities die for the sentiment and just added ribbon and a poinsettia embellishment. It's as simple as that!

I forgot to mention, this is my first 3 cards out of the many cards I plan to send to Operation Write Home! Last year, I donated 20 cards (I started late last year) and I really want to donate more this year so I'm starting early! :)

Missing You

Finally got to do a challenge this week! Of course I couldn't miss the challenge for My Favorite Things.

This was a super fun sketch and decided to use a color combo that I'm not used to!

I can't believe tomorrow is Friday already...but I'm not complaining! :)

Bargello Technique...

Squeezed in a little time to share something! Wish I had more time to craft! I'm not even sure how to pronounce "bargello" but I was browsing online and came across someone's blog with an interesting tutorial. When I tried it's really not that hard, but looks cool after! I love the samples she had on her blog but I decided to keep mine simple for now. I made 3 of them to practice, just used different sentiment stamps.

It's always fun to try something new!

First time I'm using this Ketto image! Can't tell in the pic, but I put stickles on her wings and glossy accents on the heart and crown.

I'm trying so hard to start using things I already have! There's so many cute things and great inspiration lately! :O
