Kitty Birthday

Made another birthday card since birthdays seem to be coming up left and right and I do not have a big stash yet! There really needs to be more time in a day! I still can't get over how most of the blogs I go to, they have a full-time job, a side business maybe, kids, etc. and they create so much in a week! I don't have kids yet but already feels like there's no time! :( I guess I gotta prioritize and make more time for crafts! :) Anyways, I got the sketch from Mojo Monday. A simple card using a Wild Rose Studio stamp!

Thanks for your visit! :)

Coaster Calendars

More stuff to share from this past holiday season. I made a bunch of coaster calendars, some rectangle, some square and some simple. I like variety! :) And they all have a magnet in the back.

Had fun making these!

But I hope to not procrastinate this year...some of them I had to rush!

Hope you all had a wonderful Monday!

Christmas Gift Bags

I know it's past Christmas and in the new year but I still wanted to share some things from this past holiday season that I didn't get to earlier! I only had time to make 2 simple gift bags this year! :( I keep all the bags I get when I go shopping...I love the paper ones with the handles because those are the ones I use and cover up the store name with my decorations.

Sorry this picture is not too clear...

Unfortunately didn't have time to make it prettier!

This is the front...

Just kept it simple in the back...

Here's another simple one...

Used my gingerbread man Sizzix die.

Upclose of the gingerbread man...used googly eyes! :)

Thanks for your visit! Hope you all had a great weekend!

Have a Magical Day!

I was so excited to find out that My Favorite Things Blog is now having a sketch challenge every Wednesday! Good way to start using the many stamps I purchased there! :O The sketch for this week can be found here. This is actually the first card I am happy with in awhile!

Yay tomorrow is Friday...the week went by slow for me.

Have a great weekend!

Birthday Chloe

I finally got to make another card using Sparkle Creations Rubberstamps! I made this card for her challenge blog here. The theme was "Tie it up", use ribbon, string, twine, etc. I'm still having a hard time using twine! :(

Thanks for stopping by!

Hope you're all having a great week so far!

*Edit* 1/10/11 I was the random winner for this challenge and won "Surfing Oliver".

Crochet Dishcloths

It still does not feel like 2011 to me! Anyways, I made some crochet dishcloths as gifts this year. I wanted to make a lot but unfortunately I self-taught myself from Youtube videos too late so I only did a handful. Also, it took me a really long time to figure out some parts of the written instructions!! But I was determined to complete it! I just hope the people who got them like it!!

Here is the Lacey Honeycomb Dishcloth. I tried my best! I got the pattern here.

The 3 I completed for Christmas...

This was supposed to be a motif, but I used it as a mini dishcloth. Got the pattern here. It could also be used as a coaster too.

It was funny how I thought I could finish way more in time for Christmas! But a lot of things come up unexpectedly during the holidays...now I know...definitely plan ahead!! And by then I hope to get better at crocheting! Or try something new too!! :)

Hope you all had a wonderful New Year's weekend!

Many Thanks

Happy new year everyone! Just made my first card for the year...and boy it was tough! My mojo is on a vacation somewhere! This card was supposed to be for the challenge at Club Anya but didn't realize Critter Crew is not eligible. Oh well, thought I'd share the card anyway.

Hope you all had an enjoyable New Year's eve/day with your family and friends!
