Spongebob Desk Set

I decided to make some Spongebob stuff for my mom for Christmas to use at work since she likes him and the color orange. I didn't receive my spongebob cricut cartridge in time so I had to use stickers instead for my projects. First, I made a post-it/calendar frame and made her name using cricut.

Then I decorated some gelly roll pens...I got some spongebob stickers and put them on circle nesties, then placed them on scalloped nesties. I had 2 of each so the back and front would be the same. I put a toothpick in the middle so I could wrap it around the pen with orange floral tape. Lastly, to make sure it stayed in place, I brushed decopauge glue over it. I was glad it turned out the way I wanted it to.

The last thing I made was a pen holder. They sell these plain wooden ones at ben franklin. I tried so hard to make it orange without showing the wood part underneath but I don't think I had enough paint so I just left it. I just had small stickers left so just something simple...

Simple Gift Card Holders 4 Christmas

I know it's past Christmas but I didn't get a chance to post these "simple" gift card holders I made. My mom asked me to make 10 for her co-workers! Geez. Nah, well they ended up taking up more time than I thought! But yet, this is what came up in my Google search as simple. For the images, I used the Pink Petticoat penguin digis.
Here's what the inside looks like...

and up close of the front...

and all 10 cards! phew!

TFL! Even though it was only 10, I'm not used to doing mass production! My neck gets sore! It's worth it though...they were all amazed and knew my mom didn't make it. :)

A few more frame calendars

Wow! I can't believe Christmas is tomorrow! Crazy, mostly because this year I decided to hand make things and I procrastinated and now I am rushing! Now I know! I'm just glad it's a three day weekend and today I finished at 2 P.M. whoo hoo! Merry Christmas everyone!

December OCS

Just a quick post as I am still working on my gifts! Anyways, I was glad Teri hosted the OCS for the holidays! Very fun to participate in and meet new people! My partner this month was Berenice! Here is the card she made for me...I told her I like purple! Very pretty card!

And here's the card I made for her! It was my first time making a tri-shutter card and wow, it was a challenge for me but I guess I will get used to it! I love this penny black stamp! Here it is!

A 5-card gift set...

Omg! I didn't realize that making a gift set of cards would be super time consuming! Well I guess mostly because I'm still a beginner and my brain was sore from thinking of simple card layouts since I was making so many! (I made 10 of each design, that's a lot for me, or at least at one time!) I was excited to use my new stamp set, especially because it's my very first one from stampin' up! I think it's called circle circus. I case'd the first card from the sample I received. I tried to be creative with the other four but man I had such a hard time! :( Hope you don't notice my mistakes too much!

*Sorry, I didn't realize the pix are kinda fuzzy. One, my camera sucks and two, I guess I need brighter light next time.*

A Simple Ornament and a Few Post-it/Calendar Frames

Today is almost over so I can't believe Christmas is in 9 days! Super crazy! Now I am slammed as I wanted to make a lot of things handmade this year and I totally waited til the last minute! So we'll see. Anyways, at work, we were given an aluminum lid from those frozen juices that you can make yourself. Like this...

A lot of my co-workers put pictures of their pets...unfornately, I don't have a pet right now. I decided to use the new Christmas set from Two Scoops Rice Designs. I used the gingerbread man and girl and put one on each side. For the base, I used the scallop nestie and used the swiss dot cuttlebug embossing folder over it. Then put clear glitter stickles on each dot. For the gingerbread people, I stamped it on brown paper and cut it out. Then colored the white part using souffle gelly rolls and put clear glitter stickles on. Then colored the heart with red gelly roll and put crystal lacquer to give some dimension. I was getting so frustrated with the edges because i couldn't get the regular double sided tape to serve its purpose, so I ended up leaving the outer edge bear. My co-workers decorated their edge because they use the hot glue gun, but I refuse to use it because it's messy to me! Oh well, I hope it looks okay anyway. Here's both sides of the ornament...

Last night, I helped my friend make some post-it/calendar frames. It was so much fun! I just finished a few since we took awhile coloring a lot of images! Here's what I got...TFL!

A Simple Altered Notebook and Post-it Holder

I thought my notebook looked really plain so I decided to decorate it! For the letters, I used my Cricut machine. And for the image, I used the embossing stencils from Taj Clubhouse and cut out each piece separately to put together. Then the other week, I decided to make a little post-it holder to keep myself a little more organized. This time I used a rubber stamp from Taj...their characters are super cute! So glad tomorrow is Friday!! Here's how they came out...
