Simple Thank You's

Wow, I think this has been the longest since I've posted! I have been crafting though...also have some great news to share soon! I was cleaning my craft room and decided to make several simple thank you cards! I made a few each of 3 designs.

TGF Altered Notepad

Just wanted to share an altered notepad I made for my secret sister for August. I used one of the Hats Off (I think that's the set) images by TGF that someone gave to me. (Forgot who. :( ) It was my first time trying the pink, orange, and yellow just for fun!

Misc.

Got to finish a couple projects today...I made a matching tag for the card I made yesterday. (see post below.) Tried my best to use similar colors.

I also getting a head start on 2012 calendars!! I'm glad some places are selling the calendars already!

The stamps are from Dandelion Designs...so cute!

Wow, it's been awhile since I last posted! :( Life's been busy and I really miss crafting! I couldn't resist buying the new "fairwee" stamps by Amy Young (Sweet November) stamps! Super adorable! I'm still thinking how to use them in a creative way! Here's what I got for now...

A Pair Of Simple Christmas Cards!

Made a couple more Christmas cards!! Kept them simple! :) Followed the sketch from non other than Clean & Simple! I love their sketches! For this one, I wanted to try best to make my own background! I'm still learning how to do this technique...I didn't know how to space the image to make it look "natural". Also, so that it wasn't too plain, on both cards, I heat embossed the background. (you can probably see my mistakes!) I haven't embossed since last year! :O It was fun though. Both images are from Dandelion Designs.

Wow, tomorrow is Wednesday already! That much closer to the weekend! :)

An early 2012 calendar and July CATS

Hello! I finally got to do some crafting with my friend this weekend! It always goes by so fast...and too many things we want to do! :( She suggested we alter an acrylic frame with stamps, a calendar and a post-it! It's never too early too start...it's already August! :O I used the new (well new for me) tulip monkey by C.C. Designs.

I also wanted to share the card and tag I received from Gail (from California) for July...

love these...they are too cute!! She said it was a die...very cool!

 She also made a tea bag holder...again very cute and creative!!

 (fyi- the theme for July was red, white, and blue)
