Post-It Note Holders

My workplace has a craft fair coming up for Mother's Day, part of the proceeds will go to the Alzheimer's Assocation. (So I'm doing this for a good cause. :) ) I can't believe it is coming up so fast!! I remember in January I asked the Marketing Dept. about it and I was like yay I have a lot of time...now it's April and I'm sad to say I don't have as many things to sell because I procrastinated! I was having fun doing challenges! :) Perhaps I could sell some of those cards but I don't know if people would actually pay for it. Well I just finished my first batch of Post-it note holders for the craft fair.

And here's a calendar magnet I made for my secret sister for April.

(to go along with the Easter card I made.)

Was my first time using the combo, grey, pink and black. I like it!

Monogram Card Sets and a Bday Card

Decided to make some monogram card/notecard sets as part of my friend's birthday gift. It's a wonder I don't know her favorite color so I just chose brown and pink. Kept it simple and made 3 each notecards and regular size cards.

Thought I'd stick with the brown and pink theme for her birthday card.

PI Birthday!

Yay, got to do another challenge! Decided to make another birthday gift bag since I have some birthdays coming up and it's good to have them on hand. Since I rarely make big cards, I use the bigger stamps for the gift bags. This PI image wasn't too big but when I used the circle nestabilities it came out big. Went to Sunday Sketch and Stamp for the challenge. Here's what I got...

Easter Chick

Sad I haven't gotten to post in awhile, or even craft! Been making things for a craft fair coming up at my work place so I'll share that when it's all done! Finally got to do a challenge...was struggling with this one...had a hard time matching colors! :( Gotta make more time to make cards on a regular basis! :) Went to Mojo Monday for the challenge.

Hard to tell in the picture, but I used pop dots for the shell and put glossy accents on it.

I Admire You

I just missed the deadline for the challenge at My Favorite Things! (The new challenge is up already!) I was sad but I thought I'd finish the card and post it anyway. Didn't realize how many PI images I have! I hate when they're so cute you HAVE to buy one for your collection!! :( So I'm trying to using a different one each week. Anyways, here's the card...

Flower Thank You

Made 2 simple thank you cards using the sketch from Clean & Simple. Both identical, just different colors. One has a line because I wanted to make a border around the whole front but didn't turn out as good as I wanted! So I'll try again next time.

Birthday Bag and Gift!

So this past weekend was my co-worker's baby's 1st birthday party! Unfortunately, I couldn't make it at the last moment but I'm still giving a gift! Of course I wanted to make my own gift bag, used help from Sketch Saturday!

And I know this is not paper crafts, but as part of the gift, I made a plastic canvas baby picture frame!

The stitching in the middle is holding the frame stand.

The pattern had things to put on the bottom but I decided to leave it simple.
